Is it hard to play the harp? +

The harp, like any other instrument or sport, requires consistent learning and practice. It does require hand dexterity and foot coordinator. As an experienced teacher, I will guide you through the proper techniques, mindset, and customized cirriculum towards achieving your musical goals. Commitment and dedication are integral to fluency and I am here to help guide you through the process to make it easy.

Do I need to know to read music? +

While it is helpful to have prior knowledge of reading music, it is not necessary to take lessons with me. We will work on fluency of reading the grand staff (treble and base clef) as it is a foundational skill for any musician.

Do I need to have my own harp? +

It is important that you have access to a harp to practice regularly on. I can assist you in finding a suitable harp to either rent or puchase according to your needs.

How do online lessons work and what equipment do I need? +

Online lessons are conducted over Zoom or any other video communication application. You will need a device (such as phone or laptop) and steady internet. A microphone is suggested for sound quality but not necessary.
